Being the girlfriend and/or baby's mother of an aspiring rapper is very challenging. As his girlfriend, you are expected to support him in his decisions and on his path to his dream. But can a woman really support the idea of their man going on long tours with other rappers (who may or may not have girlfriends/wives back home) where they are constantly bombarded by groupies?
Yes, the perks of being with a successful entertainer are very appealing, especially from a financial stand point. But, is your pride worth it? Or really, your self-worth and respect? And without self-respect doesn't that put you in the same category as the groupie?
Of course, he is going to say and quite possibly even believe that "this is different" or "I'm not focused on those hoes, I'm focused on my money" but men are human, and humans are weak. Imagine him being away from you and your family for weeks, maybe months, lonely and surrounded by beautiful whores with daddy issues who are willing to do anything just to feel a rush, that rush being your man.
